We manufacture precision stainless steel welding nipples in grades SS 304, SS 304L, SS 316, SS 316L, SS 321, and SS 310S. Available in Schedule 40, Schedule 80, and Schedule 160 wall thicknesses with socket weld (SW), butt weld (BW), NPT and BSP threaded ends. Supplied to ASTM A182, ASTM A312, EN 10216-5, and DIN 2633 standards for chemical, oil & gas, food processing and marine piping systems.

Stainless Steel 304 Welding Nipples

SS 304 welding nipples are the most widely used austenitic grade, offering excellent weldability, good corrosion resistance, and cost-effective performance for water systems, food processing, architectural piping, and general industrial service up to 870°C intermittent.

Stainless Steel 316 / 316L Welding Nipples

SS 316 and 316L welding nipples contain molybdenum (2–3%), providing superior resistance to chlorides, sea water, and aggressive chemicals. The low-carbon 316L variant minimises sensitisation risk in weld heat-affected zones — ideal for offshore, chemical, and pharmaceutical pipework.

Stainless Steel 321 Welding Nipples

SS 321 welding nipples are titanium-stabilised for high-temperature service (427–900°C). Suitable for exhaust manifolds, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and power generation piping where sensitisation from prolonged elevated temperatures is a concern.

Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 Welding Nipples

Available in both Schedule 40 (standard wall) and Schedule 80 (extra heavy) thicknesses from ⅛” (DN6) to 4″ (DN100) and above. Schedule 80 nipples are used in high-pressure piping, hydraulic lines, and steam systems. Custom wall schedules (Sch 160, XXS) available on request.

Socket Weld and Butt Weld Nipple Ends

We supply socket weld nipples (SW) for Class 3000 and 6000 fittings to ASME B16.11, and butt weld nipples (BW) per ASME B16.9 in seamless and welded construction. Both types are available with full penetration weld bevels, tested to ASME B31.3 process piping requirements.
